That's great you saw Noseda do the Suite No. 2. I really think highly of this conductor - especially his Liszt series on Chandos and the Casella Second Symphony on the same label. He also has a Respighi disc on Chandos (I have it), but unfortunately it doesn't include the Ancient Airs and Dances.
Anyway, I generally agree with the recommendations for the Dorati/Mercury set (AFAIR, the SACD which I now have sounds better than the CD I used to have), but I've also liked a couple of other sets I've owned, including the Orpheus CO and the Lopez-Cobos / Lausanne CO. I had the Marriner LA CO set for a while, but I felt he was pushing the tempos excessively in some movements (to show off the virtuosity of the orchestra?). I also recommend, as a supplement to one of the complete recordings, this very fine recording the Third Suite by I Solisti Italiani on the Denon:
