Home Music Lane

It's all about the music, dude! Sit down, relax and listen to some tunes.

Jazz...

She was indeed HUGE in her prime years (1963-65), with such hits as: "Maybe I Know"
, "Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows", "That's the Way Boys Are", "Judy's Turn To Cry", "She's a Fool", "You Don't Own Me", and the one that really put her on the map..."It's My Party".

Quincy Jones produced (double tracked her vocals) and arranged, and the records just hit the mark spot on.

She continued to play So Cal jazz clubs clear up to recent times...The Baked Potato, Catalina Bar and Grill, The Jazz Bakery, etc.

And the Beach Boys appearance in the T.A.M.I. show was actually deleted in the original video release of the show, as requested by Brian Wilson. But gotta love my boys, Jan and Dean, hosting it!
