In the late-90s, I worked for a company, whose newsletter was called "Shore To Shore." Our unofficial corporate mascot was the Seahorse. Thus, I was Lummy The Seahorse. We also had a 4'11" receptionist, who was called The Little Seahorse. My alma mater, Lowell High, used to have the now politically incorrect Indian (Anthrax's "Indians" was our unofficial but popular anthem) as a mascot. So when we got rid of the Indian, I suggested the Loch Monster. After all, we were located right across the street from foggy Lake Merced. Wouldn't it be cool, to have a plesiosaur-type mascot, rising from the banks of the lake?
But anyway, in recent times, people tend to refer to me as Lummy The Loch Monster. The rest still like the nickname Luminator better.
