Ah, yes the cover. Didn't even think about the unusual construction. Since the actual record is in such good condition I thought it was a reissue from the 70-80s.

Thanks for pointing out that detail. It indeed is, a fine album.

Can't think of ANY current performer coming close. Even though the songs are from another era, it doesn't sound terribly dated.
