Yes she is great. We are lucky to have her in the L.A. Phil. Ont he opposite end of the spectrum we have Ariana Ghez, principal oboist. She always looks bored to death. IMO she is one of if not the best oboist in any orchestra in the world.
But given their age they must both be soulless musical autobots that strive only to play note perfectly. ;-)
