. . . one needs more channels, as on the Thielemann (whom I normally don't think much of) blu-ray with the Staatskapelle Dresden. And Elina Garanca's contribution may be the most glamorous assumption of the solo mezzo-soprano part we've ever had on record - too bad La Trebs couldn't have sung the solo soprano part! I think that's what we need more of in our Missa Solemnis recordings: some glamor in the solo singing!
