I posted favorable comments last November on this set when I got the original German DG issue. I just listened to the K2 HD Japanese Mastering version. There seems to be an across the board improvement in sonics. The overall character is smoother yet rich and detailed. I really hate to use this audiophile cliché but the sound is more “analog like’. Sixty dollars is rather expensive for this set but K2 HD mastering brings this 1960 set up to modern audiophile standards…. well, in my opinion.
