What's important to know about Galbraith's Bach is that it is not being played on a standard classical guitar. He added 2 strings; his 8-stringed instrument is supported by an endpin, like that used on cellos and the larger viols.
The recording I've heard (CD) has a close-miked feel to it. What it lacks in ambience, it makes up for in clarity.
