Another interesting discussion about Robert Schumannn & Clara

Applying psychiatric analysis to Robert & Clara Schumann in his book "Robert Schumann: The Inner Voices", written in 1985, author the late Peter Ostwald, puts a completely different focus on Robert Schumann's problems suggesting they were more of a bi-polar nature.

The article referred to in the link below is a summary of a number of interviews John Tibbetts did with Oswald and it paints a far less rosy picture of the marriage & circumstances of the Schumanns than does "Twin Spirits".
