Martha has been at or near the top of the list for many people for decades, back into the vinyl era. More than just a key banger, though, she has mentored and nurtured many young musicians, giving them opportunities to showcase their talents and gain experience.

She makes very few trips to the U.S. in recent years. If you have a chance to see her in person, don't miss it.
