Home Music Lane

It's all about the music, dude! Sit down, relax and listen to some tunes.

Thank you everyone... and Josh and Chris

A lot of great suggestions and recommendations.

Right now, I'm listening to Tchaikovsky's 6th by Celibidache. I have some other versions as well which I intend to compare.

I have known this since High School in one version or another. I think the one I listened to then was conducted by Mitropolous. I preferred it to the Brahms 1 back then. Don't remember who conducted the Brahms. I think the Brahms album cover picture had a French Horn in it. Ormandy? Columbia Record Club.

Brahms 3rd Symphony will be next up. I will definitely check out Walter with the Columbia as mentioned. Others? Furtwangler? Celibidache?
