I am looking for 10 or 12 people who will be willing to have me email them a potential cellphone ringtone for testing to see if it works on a variety of cell phones.
Not only no cost; there is no obligation to try it more than once--feel free to go back to your old ringtone. The only obligation is my request that you provide feedback as to whether it worked on your cell phone, and what that cell phone make and I hope model is.
The ringtone I want to test is the literal ringing of the vintage-1775 bell in the steeple of The First Baptist Church in America; all copyright and trademark rights will remain property of The First Baptist Church in America, and I require that any volunteers respect those rights and not pass along copies.
Note well, this is a large historical bell recorded 24/96 from 4 feet away; if you need a ringtone to interrupt an important business meeting or a romantic interlude, THIS is the one.
If you are sincerely interested and all the above is agreeable to you, email me at johnmarks hat jmrcds.com and I will email you back the MP3.
I believe that in order for you to get the ringtone to your cellphone, the easiest way is if you are all-Apple and your iPhone is synched to your desktop or notebook or laptop Apple computer; otherwise, you will have to follow your cellphone manufacturer's instructions, or use a free public service such as www.mobile17.com
