True 'nuff. But this very "Englishness" of her voice makes it wonderfully suited for more traditional English sort of material. "The Lass with the Delicate Air" is a superb "folk" album for its time (mid-1950s), and she really shines on songs like "London Pride" and "Days of the Kerry Dancing."
