Ipod/ITunes problem

I travel. My Ipod is a Godsend in planes and in hotels.

I downloaded a lot of the classical music i have bought recently only to find that the "naming" of the artist and the composer and how everything is organized leaves me with fragments of albums here and there, at worst, and, at best, I can't find Mozart under Mozart, but rather under the name of the director, or the soloist, or who knows.

I have a solution, and I implemented it. It wasn't very elegant, but it worked....I think.

What is the elegant solution?
