...but there were some really good recordings that went out under her name--including the Prokofiev sonata recordings. I inserted the review because I found her audacity hilarious. Furtwangler's ringing endorsement was a nice touch, as were her musings on the pianist's art. Actually, it was her husband was responsible for the publicity, so he's really the one that I should be admiring. The orchestra that Hatto always played with was supposed to be composed of Polish refugees living in London. And of course they couldn't reveal their names because the Polish secret service was still looking for them.
