. . . Jeff Porcaro, studio drummer extraordinaire, was also the drummer for Toto, and laid down one of the most classic shuffles (copped by drummers everywhere) in Toto's "Roseanna."

Porcaro, typically modest about his talents, said he stole all aspects of this groove. The basic shuffle he said he stole from Bonham's "Fool in the Rain," turned it into a half-time shuffle a la Bernard Purdie ("Babylon Sisters") and finally added the Bo Diddly riff with the bass drum.

Aren't you glad you know that now? ;-) Sorry, I used to be a drummer and my kid is one now.
