After spending the last few months focusing on the late string quartets and piano sonatas, just about everything else—by anyone else—seems like a "nice try."

Then I read Virginia Woolf's "To the Lighthouse," and she did the same damn thing to me for the novel.

Geniuses ought to be banned!
