The story of how that release came about is almost as good as the record. it is a masterpiece that almost remained just legendary in the minds of the session participants....It is one of Hill's best efforts. No one has mentioned Point of Departure which is also nice. The one Hill date that I just could not digest was his Big Band effort from 4 or 5 years ago. I should try it again.
