Do you know of any band where.....

you prefer their later stuff over their early stuff? I started looking at my collection of music and find that I almost always prefer a band or individuals early recordings over their later ones. Of course there are exceptions....

a few exceptions for me

Miles- middle period 60-84
Laswell- who knows! He does so much
Gong- You and Angels Egg- Gong est Mort is great too, all later stuff
Steely Dan-very consistent-I like them, don't love them, most albums have a couple of tunes I like, never the whole album
