Well, my live location recording from the Jupiter String Quartet's recent performance (March 2) at Kohl Mansion in Burlingame, CA is stunning in all regards!

Yes, their playing is stupendous and my recording is quite warm, overall.

Used a pair of MBHO 603 cardioids in ORTF a few feet in front of their performaance feeding signal through an Aphex 1100 into an Alesis Masterlink at 24-bit.

Superb sounding recording!

I'm genuinely thrilled and just want to strangle the guy who coughed very loudly during the Mozart Clarinet Quintet in A Major! I don't think I can remove it.

Keep your eye on this group!
