Queen is a tough one as he has lived in Geneva, Switzerland for God knows how long, and he is seldom heard live in the US. Still, as a protege of Elvin Jones (born in Harlem), he has played with Horace Silver , Johnny Griffin,
Clark Terry, the Kenny Drew Jr. Trio of the 80's with NHOP, and on and on.Top call drummer for US musicians who travel to Europe without a drummer for many many years...
He last visited NYC a few months back with Oscar Peterson (Birdland, NYC). To my ears he has a distinctively big cymbal beat and an equally distinctive snare drum "pattern"...
Oh, and he did the Organ scene for years as well.
