A phenomenal recording, hard to believe the orchestra is made up of students. Great brass and percussion. Lovely strings. Makes the best case for the "slow movement before Scherzo" ordering of the inner movements.

Mostly purist stereo micing, engineering by Jerry Bruck. The slow movement is a great system demo--for those whose attentions spans can stretch that far.

A Stereophile ROTM.
