1. Boy.....nice. Kind of reminds me of some of Kenny Garrett's latest stuff with Pharoah on the front line. The first tenor soloist sounds like a cross between latter-day Pharoah and Michael Brecker (!). No real idea who either of the saxes are. The pianist sounds like Don Pullen to me...it would have been nice if the pianist had blown a little longer.
2. Hip arrangement on the Monk tune. I prefer the more muscular of the two saxes, whoever that is. NICE blowing here.
3. The changes sound a lot like "Portrait of Jenny". Nice bass solo in particular. I'm tempted to say NHOP, but he'd probably be given a little more space than this. I'm not getting any warmer here on any of the others.
4. I feel like I should know this tenor player. The closest my mind seems to be able to conjure is George Garzone.
