Ryan Teague - Coins & Crosses

Ryan Teague's 2006 recording of modern classical/electronic music is worth hearing for his use of orchestra, voices and harp soloist in the blending of orchestral sounds with electronic elements. While the electronic sounds are an integral part of most of the pieces, the centerpiece of the recording, "Fantasia", reminiscent of the English Romantic school, shows Teague's true talents as a composer with the use of the string orchestra alone. Recommended listening.
