In the post today came Sufjen Stevens presents The BQE... an orchestral work dedicated to a road, his 5 CD set of Xmas music and Run Rabbit Run the Osso string 4tet's arrangements of his Enjoy Your Rabbit album.
The BQE set includes a DVD as well, so this is going to take quite some working through!
ON first playing, the BQE set seems to progress SS's fascination with what I can only think of as a Zappa-esque style of composition which I find VERY cool and interesting.
As I am preparing the house for viewings I don't have the time today for detailed listening so I will try and get back to these at the weekend.
