So, a week has passed and I have listened to the Presents some more and had a break from Cut Copy, before another listen this morning.

The Presets have definitely grown on me - I very much like their harder edge and darker feel a lot; I prefer The Presets' Apocalypto over Simian Mobile Disco's Attack Decay Sustain Release, which is a similar type of album that I have listed to about as often.

Cut Copy, well, they amaze with how many disparate components they can shove into a song and still have it sounding melodic and of-a-whole, which can move me emotionally almost as much as my body. I also like that their lyrics are cheesy like an 80s pop band, yet somehow not. These guys seem a musical paradox, of sorts... Now, time to get up from my office chair and dance! Love it.

Disclaimer: I first started getting into music with 80s pop, so I may be somewhat desensitised to the cheesiness of this type of music...

Cheers
