performance by Chingon at the movies wrap party. Chingon is the
band of Roberto Rodriguez, you know, "From Dusk to Dawn," "Sin
City" and so on. Roberto himself is no slacker on the guitar, but
the two guitarists with him are blisteringly amazing: they are the
Del Castillo brothers, Mark and Rick, both masterful lead and rhythm
players with almost telepathic interplay; check it out, it's hot.
Del Castillo is the hottest band in Austin right now, and they
sometimes do gigs with Calexico, the hottest band in Arizona. If you
get a chance to see these guys live, do anything to be there.
