A certain Robert Layton once said that Furthwangler, Walter and (most of all) Karajan were the best he ever heard.
I think the Celibidache CDs weren't available by then, but since Rob is out, who cares? (and those EMIs are out of my budget)
I happen to own all three (plus the Carragan "finised" Talmi/Oslo of Chandos) but can't decide which is the best.
That's why I'll keep collecting Bruckner 9ths. Should I include Jochum?
