I have the Philips recording on CD conducted by Colin Davis, and while there is much in it that I enjoy, I feel it is far too "hot" a recording--the sopranos in particular seem too closely miked and shrill to be believed.
What suggestions have you--not interested in downloads or streaming please...just LPs or, preferably, CDs.
