Reread my post I gave no advice nor recommended anyone do anything. Why did you say I did? That sucks.I stated fact. External power supplies? There are lots of subs, HT receivers and more with no safety ground that draw plenty of current that are engineered with no safety ground..I know the deal. Charles Hansen of Ayre called safety ground a noise antenna. I'm a ham and float my antenna grounds too. You do what you want I will do what I want. That manufacturers are reengineering and getting rid of safety ground on low medium and high current products should tell you something. You don't want to listen. You are living in the theory world not the real world. So I will die like so many others have from lifting safety ground. I go to graveyards all the time to pay homage to the millions that died from listing safety ground. Brystons have a switch for it. You sound like the many engineers that live in books and computers and have little real world hands on experience with gear.
