However the OP appears to be playing Blue Ray audio discs on his old Samsung player and seems very keen on the result. When HDMI was specified by the Blue Ray consortium as the default interface manufacturers who retained analogue outputs subsequently also handicapped them by no longer allowing full Blue Ray audio output but downsampled it. I have been trying to find a link to this but have been unable to so far. But I understand it is the case. So the OP won't get the quality he is so keen on.
Mind you I admit that don't know if my Oppo recommendation is any better in this respect.
