The guy's wife tells him the power company was in the back of the house at the electric meter.The guy looks and sees 2 big locks now on the meter. He wonders, what the fu*ck.
Next day or so a letter comes in the mail from the power company accusing someone living in the house of tampering with the meter. A phone number is provided for the person whose name is on the letter to call the power company. The meter is in his wife's name.
His wife calls the number and then tells them she is going to let her husband talk to them.
The person on the phone proceeds to tell the guy the meter has been tempered with and a charge will be assessed back to the date his wife first moved into the house. The charge will be over $300.
The husband responds no one has tampered with the electric meter. The person on the other end of the phone replies yes it was. A magnet was found on the meter's steel enclosure.
The Husband responds.....
