Does anyone here listen to noise, recorded or live?

I recently discovered Luc Ferrari. He has some really interesting pieces that sound great on full range speakers.

I need to burn some to take upstairs to the electrostatics.

An historical moment:

While standing in the backyard of the home I was about to make an offer on, the train yard about 1812' away started to chatter squeal and howl. The owner, noticed I was paying attention to what was going on behind us, so she let me know I was hearing the train yard. She was probably thinking...oh shit. I was thinking...YES! We bought (stole) the house, and 19 years later, I still enjoy sitting out back with a huge fire at 1:00 am, listening to the banging, clanging, hissing, moaning and all the strange sounds I bought.
