Music lovers, on the other hand, don't give a rat's ass about sound quality. Musicians especially. They simply do not care and get the same enjoyment from a single paper whizzer cone than they do from a crazy 7 figure setup. They would just marvel at the equipment in the exact same way a non-audiophile (ie, regular person) would.
Music lovers are not in any danger of going away. They are happy to listen in any form, preferring only live over anything else.
Stereo was the 20th century version of the present 100 inch television. And even that is going away. The big LED TV isn't that much of a big deal now that it's becoming as common as the toaster.
