Howdy. I do give you points for not copying a 2-way box speaker.
Seems that your re-branding exercise included a not-so-mini redesign... using something other than SL's full-range driver and adding a tweeter.
While I said nothing about assembled, one can buy the real-deal LXmini kit from Madisound for $400. The $1,200 price is actually $800 and comes directly from the Linkwitzlab web site (plus the cost of a 4-channel amp, and assembling the pieces of course. Screwdriver not included).
