Sonic holography only works if you fully understand it's design principles and implement them correctly. Many people just connect the equipment, engage the generator and think that's it, it's not.If you've ever read anything on the Polk SDA speakers and what they're trying to achieve then you have some idea. Sonic Holography works the same only with any speaker connected. Both systems have their limitations, IE you must sit "exactly" centered, and the speaker setup is absolutely critical in all of its domains. This is its greatest weakness, it's just not multiple listener friendly.
But when set up correctly it can be pretty amazing actually.
