B&O were always a brand that had an above-average number of issues, and I say this as a former reseller who serviced (almost*) everything we sold. Their cassette decks in particular were nightmares.

* Almost because there were a very few brands who insisted on all warranty and repair to go to the national repair facility. Broadly speaking we avoided such products but in some cases with Hi End gear the performance justified selling the line.
