I agree with you. But the problem is that majority of audiophiles are just afraid to share their negative experience, because it'll affect the resale price of the defective unit. They just try to fix it asap and get rid of it.
Personally, I don't care about that angle of the problem. I know I got a shitty brand, I wasted $5000, and if I ever sell it (I doubt it), potential buyer will know the story. The point of my original post, for the most part, is for future customers of Electro. Buyer beware.
