It's a strange list as most lists are. Do they have to be singers or songwriters? How many songs did Barbara Streisand write? Kate Bush wrote a ton of hit songs, mostly sung by someone else.
I'd agree on Joni and even Taylor Swift even though she and Adele are both just too young for that type of list though Swift has a much larger catalog.
At least half of the list were folks that were news to me and there were plenty of giants of the past that were missing.
