RE: Didn't Ivor Tiefenbrun once say something like "even a nail (instead of stylus) would sound good in his LP12?"

That doesn't sound right for Ivor. He may have claimed that his turntable allowed the maximum information to be retrieved from the disc and in its correct relationship but I never heard Ivor use anything as simple as "it sounds good" to justify the LP12. He always referred to information/relationship/timing.

Still, if anyone can come up with a reference....
