I surely didn't mean to make disparaging comments with regards to your experience. International transactions can often be quite complicated!

My response was based completely on my location, and my interactions with FedEx and UPS. Were you to pop into my particular shop? The FedEx rate/price and complications of shipping would probably be much less painful than going by UPS. That sounds disparaging towards UPS, but my shipping is probably 70% UPS, and 30% FedEx - I give customers both options, and for international, FedEx tends to be the best service.
