Some of us have "interest", we just know to (mostly) not talk about it *here*.Have you noticed how poorly audiophile and HT sensibilities mix? Even on the most popular A/V sites, you better not say 99% of the stuff that people say here, the "bits are bits" and "wires are wires" and "all amps sound the same" etc. trolls will smother you and any real discussion. Most of the time. I swear some people spend all day on A/V forums just doing that stuff, some claim to even have jobs!
Edit: to be fair, there are usually places on those forums where people can discuss this stuff re mch, with like-minded people, without getting bogged down. You can learn a lot, improve your setup, and encounter a lot of people who are even fussier than you are...it does take more work re mch. I think the first step is to say "it's only movies" and to lower your standards somewhat, because it's all even more fake than recorded music. :) If you're into the mch music, then that's going to probably take a lot more effort...
