That's a great story.Here's another:
In '74, I was a music student in Montreux, Switz. There was another student with whom I became friends. I don't remember what instrument he played, maybe the string bass. So anyway, several years later, while looking for a job, I was in Minneapolis. I'm walking down the street, and I see this familiar looking guy walking toward me. It was my old friend from Montreux! Just walking down the street - half way around the world. Talk about chance encounters! That was bizarre!
