Hahahahaha!The funny part is that, of all the people I see in the grocery store, NOBODY, EVER, is a trumpet player. Lots of trombone players looking for work, but that's another story.
I often wear a Maynard Ferguson or Eric Miyashiro t-shirt when I'm out and about, and NO ONE has a clue who these guys are.
So, yeah, it was very unusual to run into this guy, playing his horn just when I drove up to buy some groceries.
Speaking of Eric Miyashiro, he gave me, GAVE me, a new t-shirt a couple of weeks ago. I think he felt sorry for me, and my lack of a decent wardrobe. Is that cool, or what?!
