Unfortunately I wasn't too young.. :) I'll be 50 next year.

In fact in 1994 I was already skulking around the showrooms at Sound Components in Coral Gables deciding which speakers would make up my HT setup... I picked the DefTechs and B&K preamp... it was the reasonable alternative to the Casablanca... All are still going strong!

But I don't remember seeing that show advertised. And I don't think any big shows have come here since. The west coast gets all the good audio stuff. Even NYC, where I was born and raised is relatively weak compared to San Francisco... although there are many more opportunities to experience the high end in the North East as opposed to the South East and South Florida in particular.
