Audio review sites.

Is it really necessary to publish reviews of $20K amps, 10K phono carts, or $25K speakers as the only products? Was looking at the Stereo Times site for the most desirable components and the list is priced so high for a given component, I doubt a Saudi Prince could afford them. Is this some sort of a macho thing basically bragging, "Aren't we super-cool? Look at all this mega-bucks gear we're reviewing! I bet you're envious, aren't you? Bet almost no one can afford this stuff, much less appreciate the sound qualities", (real or imagined).
