I attended the Eagles opened.
Yes, they opened for Procol Harum in Atlanta at a venue that was mainly used for professional wrestling. Can't remember the others but they were every bit as incongruous.
I "hated" the Eagles. Probably as much as The Dude hates the Eagles.
Just struck me as phony. Like WILCO, the new Eagles, they are good but there is something that just doesn't seem right.
Though I have to admit BOYS OF SUMMER is one of the greatest songs I have heard.
