Yeah, funny, but it also makes me wonder how many others have been posting under similar handicaps. And whether I am NOW hearing what the records/tapes/CDs, etc. actually sound like or whether it's just a different form of what, distortion?, I'm listening to, quite happily.
Everybody has heard the old saw, "I got a new (piece of equipment) and now I'm listening to all my records, etc. like they're brand new" (or something like that). Well, that goes double for hearing aids. Really. A new and arguably much better perspective. Who knew?
Oh, and I don't think I'll ever use the words "accuracy" and "neutrality" again.
