I feel it is ALL magic. It surrounds us, even if we are not able/willing/equipped to know it, to see it , to feel it.
I once lived 6 miles from the ocean, the smell flowed in every AM with the fog
and still the smell of the redwoods on the property was as intoxicating...almost.
Now I am 200 beautiful miles thru rainbow canyons, along rocky rivers, a drive so sweet it should be outlawed...
I spent the last decade living in, building and busting the chops that I thought were retired in the Lassen area forest...Ran outa time...and patience and could not endure CA another moment.
Now on the Rogue River, now in Oregon.
Did I lose anything...naw..
An even more amazing lay of the land, a neater part of the Cascades, the longest mountain range in North America.
And Mrs LWR sings more...
