RE: PS Audio P300 resurrection

Why are you thinking of having it recapped? Has it stopped working? Is it humming? If you need yours serviced why not call PS Audio in Boulder Colorado?

My PS Audio P300 (multi-wave version) continues to work perfectly, except the light bulb illuminating the PS logo on the lower right of the face plate has gone out. It doesn't bother me so I haven't replaced it.

I disconnected the fan in mine which I was told by PS is fine as the early original units didn't even come with a fan. PS Audio added the fan in later units mainly to alleviate heat fears for parents with small children and pets. Mine never gets very hot as I typically run it on source components that total less than 100-watts power draw.
